The Virginia Military Institute Research Laboratories, in partnership with the Virginia Sustainable Future Forum and the Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy (DMME) hosted the Commonwealth of Virginia Energy & Sustainability (COVES) Conference, Tuesday, October 16 through Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Virginia Military Institute, in Lexington, Virginia. The conference successfully gathered some of Virginia's most important energy stakeholders and experts.
The Virginia Military Institute Research Laboratories and its Conference Office would like to thank everyone involved in making the conference such a success, in just its second year. We are appreciative the union of government, industry, non-profit, and academic sources that came together to discuss a variety of pressing energy issues for the Commonwealth, region, and nation. We could not have succeeded without our attendee’s enthusiasm and expertise.
We also are very indebted to our Sponsors, Exhibitors, and Speakers for their many contributions to make this conference a success. We know support from these Sponsors, Exhibitors, and Speakers will only help spur the ideas, debate, research & development, and action that will help us all move forward towards a better energy future.
Please view the final Agenda, complete with over 70 presentations from our plenary and track speakers. Make sure to periodically visit the COVES website for additions, as we are still receiving presentations to post.
Thank you again for all of your support, and we look forward to working with you in the future!
